Aaannd we're back! Season 2! Ahh! It felt great to take a break from the podcast but I'll be honest - I missed it a bit. In the past months, I've been thinking a lot about how I want this podcast to help creative women with their online businesses and I kept coming back to the emotional and mindset skills we must have to really cut through all the content we get exposed to online.
Part of our job is to capture and connect, but I'd say most of us consume way more content than we need to, which then leads to digital overwhelm.
In this episode, Carolina and I get into how digital overwhelm has impacted our lives since we've decided to start a business and what shifts we've made in the last 6 months to improve our resistances and battle it so we can be the best at what we do online.
We get into routines, structures, awareness ideas and really what it takes to be smart about handling all the outside stimulus and distractions when it comes to having an online business.
We also get into some sneak peeks into Season 2, episodes we have planned, and our overall objective with the podcast.
This is the last episode of Season 1! It was such a treat for me since Dani has been walking me through the process of being truer to my brand messaging by embracing my emotions.
I can't believe this is our last tech news episode of Season 1! I feel that only yesterday I was asking Alvaro to co-host this episode with me and we've come such a long way.
This is an upside interview! I asked Nat from Website Superhero to ask me about what struggles and questions Web Developers have when they consider using Google Analytics with their clients.
I feel so fortunate to have gotten to talk to Abbey Ashely of the Virtually Savvy community! During this episode we have a real conversation about what it is like the weather the different seasons of an online business: the scrapping of ideas, trusting the process, redefining productivity, and how to work with failure.
I always have so much fun talking to Juci! The reason I wanted to get her to talk about her experience with Google Analytics is it is so different when you have a real client situation where you are using data to tell them a story about their website.
The last episode of every month is reserved for the So Called Tech News episode, which I host with Alvaro Pujals. It is tech news for the busy creative who doesn't have time to read about what is going on in the larger tech world and wants to stay up to date!
I met Maring through Tiffany Han's 100 Rejection Letters program and really was inspired by her Creative Sparks challenge.
During this interview we talk about what it means to discover your creative voice (and that it isn't always comfortable!).
Ah!! This episode was so much fun!
I interviewed Megan Dowd, Pilates Instructor extraordinaire and her energy was so contagious! We not only talk about the importance of moving your body but also how we all deserve self-care and that it doesn't need to be super complex (it can actually be fun!).
A couple month's ago, Matthew asked me to be on his podcast over at Enthead and it was really great getting into analytics. Now, we are going through all the learnings from his virtual summit which is useful for anyone who is thinking of putting together a summit of their own.
