When I started my business, I had no idea that I’d eventually transition into being an SEO expert. I knew I’d be doing something around digital marketing, data, and helping other businesses grow.

And ever since I’ve transitioned more into Search Marketing, I’m amazed at the breadth and width of the work. Over 7 years ago, adding a couple of keywords to your site was all you had to do. Now there are so many factors, onsite and offsite that can change how you rank.

I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily harder to rank, but it is more complex.

That is why the sooner you start building the foundational elements of your site’s SEO, the easier over time it’ll be to start ranking.
